Sorry for the hiatus. I haven't participated in one these memes in a while. Like always, this is in no particular order. I will try to include titles that I haven't already mentioned before. Though some of these already published, I still haven't have the time to read them. Here goes:
1. The Fault in Our Stars by John Greene I know. I know. I have been trying to get my hands on this one for a while. I'm not sure if I'm ready for a tearjerker.
2. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
3. Delirium by Oliver Lauren They're coming out with a TV show for this one so heck yeah I'm going to try to read the book first!
4. Darkhouse by Karina Halle Horror isn't really my genre but I'm trying to branch out.
5. In the After by Demitria Lunetta Zombies :O
6. Taken by Erin Bowman Hooray for 2013 debut books/authors! :D
7. Unwind by Neal Shusterman
8. Splintered by A.G Howard I swear this one is next.
9. The Holders by Julianna Scott
10. Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta This one has been on my list way too long. :(
I'm excited for spring in general and getting to read these books is like icing on cake. What are your picks for your Top Ten Tuesday? Leave a link down below!
Some great titles here! Just finished reading the Holders...excellent! he Fault in Our Stars, The Book Thief, Delirium and Splintered are all on my TBR list!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I still haven't read The Book Thief. This spring I'm hoping to read Isabel Allende's new one, as well as The Unchangeable Spots of Leopards.
ReplyDeleteI need to read The Fault in Our Stars too, but like you said, I don't know if I can handle a tearjerker at the moment. Thanks for stopping by my TTT list! :)

You're in for a treat with The Book Thief - an amazing book.
ReplyDeleteI've been sitting on The Fault In Our Stars-I just can't bring myself to read it at the moment. Ah The Book Thief! I need to add that to my list. Great TBR list and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteJessica @ Literary, etc
The Book Thief is one of my all-time favorite books, it's a current day in age classic! It's absolutely fantastic! I think I've got both Splintered and Finnikin of the Rock in my Top Ten Tuesday list.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Taken seems like a popular choice. It's on my list, too! And ugh, The Book Thief and The Fault in our Stars should be included in my list. I've been putting them off for so long. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteInteresting choices, btw!
Here’s my Top Ten! :)

i LOVED the Book Thief. As in, I wish I could go back again and read it for the first time. You're in for an amazing read, savor it! And? I love your blog! New follower here!
ReplyDeleteI have seen Taken on quite a few lists. I need to check that one out. I'm a little scared to read The Fault in Our Stars, but I keep hearing how great it is.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about TFIOS. I didn't read it for a long time too, because I'm pretty much never in the mood for a tearjerker. I ended up reading it via audiobook, which was the best choice for me. It allowed me to keep some distance, as well as breaking it up into manageable chunks. I still got tearyeyed, but I could handle it. It's a wonderful story, though. John Green is pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring Reading :)
Excellent list! I loved Delirium and nice move waiting until the trilogy is completely published - I wish I had done that. ;) The Fault in Our Stars is ah-may-zing. Seriously, it's one of my favorites and though I very rarely reread books, I've read this one twice now. The Book Thief is stellar (another book I actually reread!). I hope you get a chance to read all of these soon!

I adored The Fault in Our Stars and actually cried at the end, and I'm like you - I rarely get THAT emotional over books. I can appreciate the emotion in a book, but I don't often get emotional just by reading it. Great list!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog! You asked me about Pretty Girl-13. The subject matter made it difficult to read it times, but it was very well-written. Definitely recommend it. Here's my review. However, I do NOT recommend reading it back-to-back-to-back with The Book Thief and TFIOS; you will need several boxes of tissues.
ReplyDeleteSplintered is excellent, and I enjoyed Taken, too. Happy reading!
